Second Site Cemetery
Mint Hill, NC

Locally known as the Second Site Cemetery, this post-Revolutionary war burial ground guards the final resting places of Revolutionary War Soldiers, church parishioners, their families, children, the enslaved as well as travelers. Second Site Cemetery is part of the Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Mint Hill, NC and the location of the church's 'second building site' from 1780-1826.

Special thanks to the Philadelphia Presbyterian Church of Mint Hill and the Mint Hill Historical Society and Scot Treadwell for assisting me with research and site access.
