Ground Penetrating Radar Maps

In 2022, archaeologist Mary Beth Fitts conducted a ground-penetrating radar survey on the cemetery, which confirmed all the 101 graves Dr. Reichs exhumed in 1988. The interactive feature below shows the different radar versions of the cemetery, each one giving a slightly different image.

We can see from these images that the current position of the grave markers does not line up with the actual graves and most of the grave depressions do not have associated grave markers. According to cemetery preservationist, Jason Harpe, this disassociation is a common issue affecting relocated cemeteries.
